Campagnolo Ekar C13 chain waxed

Tuned chain in professional quality for significant watt savings, always clean drives and enormous drive durability. Ideal for high-end bikes, racing and Zwift races.

 

This Campagnolo Ekar C13 13-speed chain with 117 links was first treated with white spirit and then completely degreased in an ultrasonic bath. It was then hot waxed in Silca Secret Chain Blend. Of course, the PowerLock was also treated and is included. The advantages of waxed chains are absolutely convincing. The chain runs much more efficiently and you save a few watts. On top of that, the waxed chains protect the cassette, chainrings and pulley wheels, which pays off enormously financially, especially on high-priced drivetrains. The drivetrain also always stays clean and chain tattoos and dirty hands and shoes are finally a thing of the past. The drivetrain works perfectly with waxed chains in both wet and dry conditions.

 

Note: After around 800 km the coating wears off and can be reworked with liquid chain wax. For this purpose, we recommend our liquid wax, which we developed in collaboration with Morgan Blue. You can find it here. After riding in wet conditions, the chain should be dried with a dry cloth.
